So we need name ideas. We like nerdy names, like video game characters. Suggestions? Obviously, we already have Navi.

What kinds of video games do you like? That would give more of a base to start with

Kerrigan is HJ’s computer’s name, lol. And Zelda is out of the running because it was Link’s name before he got neutered instead of spayed. And Aerith (while a very pretty name) dies, and I don’t want that hanging over my bun’s head.

I’m a Nintendo fangirl at heart (grew up on Super Smash Bros and Zelda games), but my favorite games are mostly RPGs and JRPGs (Oblivion, the “Tales” series, etc), primarily ones on the 360 and Wii.
HJ is mostly a FPS person – but he will play virtually anything for 360. He’s the biggest Halo fanboy I know and he’s also huge into Battlefield: Bad Company.
We’re also both huge Star Wars nerds.

hmmm.. name suggestions. My bf is a Star Wars guy too but since most of those names have already been suggested I’m going to suggest the girl names from the 80’s Ewoks cartoon. They are actually three names I love.

Well, HJ has his heart set on Cortana, and since she is his “early anniversary present” (It’s in Oct), I guess we’re naming her Cortana! I can’t wait – in 12 hours, I should be either just getting her or on my way home with her – can’t wait!

 

EDIT: Just to be clear, he definately knows what his present is – it’s not a surprise or anything. Last year, we got Navi for my anniversary present the same way, pretty much.
