I’ve recently rescued my second bunny last weekend as a friend for my neutered male rabbit Oskar. Her name is Annabelle and she’s spayed, 11 pounds and already dominates my less than 4 pound male rabbit. She always goes into his habitat, uses his litterbox than leaves. However, when he goes back in his cage he’s always in his litterbox and is actually better about using it.

I’m currently in the bonding process, should I add a litterbox to the equation since Oskar doesn’t seem to mind? Or should I let whatever is happening continue to happen? Either way, Oskar’s getting much better at using his litterbox and Annabelle was already very good.

Sharing litterboxes is good. If he’s improving and her habits are remaining good I’d be tempted to leave things as they are for now.

I bet his litterbox habits to make sure he marks over her scent — great way to litter train! LOL. I also agree that leaving things as is a good idea. No need to add another potty spot if you don’t have to. So unless they get aggressive about it, then sounds like it’s just fine as is.
