Well Fiver sure had both me AND Mimzy fooled today!
As usual, Mimz was out for his morning medication and was kind of tooling around on the bed like he always does. He wanders a bit and then digs the blanket until I pull him over and snuggle him, giving head rubs for about 15 minutes at a time. (His ears get all static-y and he had to sit up and scratch them from time to time.)
The whole time, Fiver was totally calm…just puddling and sometimes sticking his nose over for a rub with my other hand. He would eat and not freak out that Mimzy was close by and just acted so mellow…he almost seemed like he wanted to befriend Mimzy. He even sniffed my other hand to catch Mimzy’s scent.
Until one time that Mimz came over the the door of the pen again. Fiver had been in bunloaf position and totally cool. Then all of a sudden…
THUMP!!!
And I mean LOUD.
Startled the heck out of both me AND Mimzy and we both backed off quick!
I was like, “Where the heck did THAT come from? Nobody was messing with you, turkey-butt!”I had to laugh though…I think Fiver was purposefully acting like a calm little bunny looking for a friend so Mimzy would come close enough for him to scare the butt fluff off of.
What a little terror. Four pounds of pure evil in a nice little package…lolz!
I need one of those caution signs on my door that says “Beware of Bun!”
