        My bunny has been making small noises that are almost equivalent to sneezes and whining. I’m not really sure what to do as I can’t currently take him to the vet. He also has be sitting up straight in his cage and shaking. I can easily pull him out of these things by calling his name and he’s still eating, drinking and playing normally so I’m not sure what’s going on. He also seems to have been making smaller poops.

          I’m not sure, but he might be having trouble breathing, so I would call the vet and try to get him seen.

            How can you tell if they are having trouble breathing?

              Sitting upright, and the noises you describe sound like he is possibly wheezing.

                @Vanessa95

                When rabbits are having trouble breathing, they will look up, or you can hear them really loudly. Most of the time when you hear them breathing loudly is because they have a respiratory infection.

                If he is having trouble breathing, I think you’d know. They indicate it loudly, tipping head up, eyes kind of sleepy-looking. Agree with DanaNM, I would try to get him looked at soon.

                  Yeah there’s no sign of him breathing loudly. I have an appointment to see the vet on Monday, I think I’ll have to make sure I watch him in case anything worsens and I need to take him to an emergency vet. He does seem to be doing all his normal activities which is a good sign.
