For those of you with a cube condo, how does Bunny get to the second level? Does he jump up/down or have a ramp?

I suspect the jumping up/down is causing Bindi’s sore hocks to be aggrevated and I would like to buy a ramp but I can’t find any online. Any ideas?

I didn’t like mine having to jump the 14″ all the time either, especially since they are partially on concrete. I had built a wooden ramp but it took up much room and eventually they destroyed it. I have one ‘stepping base’ now which they use steady. They know it is the easy place to get up on the shelf. It is a carpet-covered cat tunnel that has been jumped on so much that it lost its round shape but it still works. When it was new it was about 10″ high. But anything of that height that is non-slippery will do. Many cat furniture items will serve well for this purpose.

Is Neigey becoming camera shy? I can see how your carpet lost the roundness, must have really been used a lot considering your buns are pretty small. I don’t trust my buns with carpet. Bindi’s never proven that he will chew it but Olivia and Stormy love destroying carpet.

I actually just had an idea!! I’ll try it out tonight and see if it works. If yes, I’ll post it.

Well, the mini rexes probably didn’t squish it into an oval shape but Deirdra is not that light. Plus, I had used the tunnel outdoors not realizing humidity in the air would cause it to go soft a little. I agree carpet is a concern, but it was just an example. A wooden base, such as a pine hidey hut would do the same job. When I think about it, mine use it mostly for getting off the shelf, the jump upward is really no problem.
