We just got our bunnies today and one of them keeps nipping at people he nipped at me atleast 4 times them nipped at my friend 3 times then we put him on a pillow and he started scratching at it like he was digging then nipped at it , then went over to my laptop and tried biting that too. And now that hes in his cage hes doing that to the towel. Is this normal? And their both litter trained which is what the foster person said but they don’t seem to be using the litterbox in the cage…

Oh yes rabbits love to dig and they’ll often chew and nip what they’re digging on.

          Are they both spayed/neutered?

The rabbits I have that love to dig get towels to play with, and diggy boxes (you can check that out in the ‘toy test’ forum) and they love them. They also love phonebooks (just make sure it’s not your current one!)

You don’t want to allow them to nip you (of course!) You can yell ‘owwww’ when they nip you or clap your hands loudly and say “NO!” both should work quickly

          Congrats on your new bunnies!!

Remember with the nipping that they are most likely testing you to see who is top bunny. Being firm now and establishing your dominance will pay off tons later.

My bun isn’t a digger, but IS a chewer. Make sure that you have rabbit proofed your laptop cords etc.
