OK… our Rex/dwarf mix is going through a terrible molt and I noticed that he hasn’t eaten anything since this morning, including his salad. He pooped three little drops just now, the first since 3 p.m. (it’s 8 p.m. here). I sent my husband out for fresh hay (Rex is picky), veggies and herbs… what else can we do? I think I got him all stressed out with trying to help him by brushing, etc….

put your ear to her side to see if you hear any gurgling noises. if you hear them then her gut is still working.
if you think there’s a possibility of early stage of a blockage, 0.5 ml mineral oil by oral syringe would not hurt tonite.
a 16oz bottle of mineral oil at target is only like $1.50 and works with in 6-8 hours. if not then definitley vet tomorrow morning.
