Hello everyone. While I was petting my rabbit Newsie, I noticed he has this little scab on his skin. He is very healthy, eats A LOT of hay (and veggies, pellets), drinks a lot of waterand gets his exercise every day. It’s not red and he doesn’t shy away from being pet there. Does anyone has a clue as to what this could be? Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Any chance he could have mites (hay can often carry them… It’s normal). Mites can cause scabbiness or dry dandruff-like flaking. But he could have also simply scratched himself. Keep an eye on it for changes.

I am keeping an eye on it. I think it might just be dry skin possibly? I saw it and freaked out so I felt like I needed some input. Thank you!
