Hi Sage Cat, I was just wondering if you found a vet for your rabbits yet?  If not check out here:http://www.coloradohrs.com/vet.asp?whichvets=2#emlist Dr. McCarty is in Denver (hopefully close by).

Oh yes, They went to Dr. Bill Gurrera – who is the same Vet that the CO-HRS shelter uses – for their New Bunny Check up. Some of the vet techs even recognized Winston.

He said they were both in very good health and were a good weight. Wahoo!

We also have Bunny Tune Up class in about 2 weeks.

          Thanks for asking.

Awesome! I’ve been wondering if the trip is worth it to Dr. Guerrera. I know he is very good so I think I am just going to go ahead and do it. I’ve been unhappy with the ones around here.

Dr Guerrera seemed quite good with the bunny’s.

I live in Highlands – hold the Ranch. So, for me it is about 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. I think a really good vet is worth a drive.

Heck, my last vet – for the dogs & cats – was in North Boulder. That was about 45 minutes. But, they were great. I was disappointed to find they did not deal with rabbits.

I have heard really good things about Dr. Guerrera. and am so far happy with him.
