  I am moving in with a friend soon, and I wanted to clean the carpets of the upstairs area where PJ bunny and myself will be staying. Does anyone know of a safe and non-toxic formula I could use with the Bissell Big Green carpet cleaner? I have seen Carpet Miracle on amazon but I am not 100% sure if it is safe for PJ. I have also seen the Natures Miracles carpet shampoo, which I’m not that thrilled about their products, I wanted to see if there is anything better. PJ will be 11 this April, with minor eye issues. I only use all natural non-toxic cleaning products, even our dish soap, I try to keep the chemicals simple and safe for us both. I’m not concerned with stain removing, I am only cleaning the carpets to remove allergens and for general cleanliness of our new area for PJs safety. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you!

  Funny, I just got the Nature’s Miracle carpet shampoo for our Bissel spot carpet cleaner.
  
  It’s…. OK! Not amazing, but not bad. I think it works better than just the nature’s miracle solution, and I like that it doesn’t have a lasting fragrance.
  
  You also might try a white vinegar water mix?

  I think I am going to give the Natures Miracle a try, it says unscented. Plus it is on sale on Prime right now. Hopefully this will be enough. I was thinking about vinegar as well lol. I also was wondering about Borax. I know large doses can be toxic if ingested, not too sure about that one, but heard it’s great for carpet cleaning, just not sure on the safety for our little bunny companions. Thank you so much for the reply. I’ll let you guys know if I stumble on any other solutions. Also I did hear that carpet miracle has a cinnamon after scent, that doesn’t seem desirable to me either. Thanks!
