Lucy has been running into things lately.  Typically just doors to either the 2nd bedroom door or her xpen door.  We recently relocated her to out in our living room area so she can hang with us (and she does!!!) but she sometimes will try to run back to the 2nd bedroom where she had been.  We keep the door closed because my husbands computer is back there now, and we like to keep wire chewing to a minumum   It’s just concerning me a little because she’ll go full bore down the hall and SMACK right into the door.  It’s not super hard, but you can hear it!  My husband keeps joking it’s because she can’t see the door, what with her eyes being on the side of her head.  That’s all well and good but she’s still running into the door.

She isn’t exhibiting any symptoms of anything else, just…running…into…doors.  Is this possibly just because she’s used to being in that room?  Will this too pass?

Could be wrong but it does sound like she’s still trying to adjust to her new routine. Since she’s running full out when it happens, she probably just gets to racing around and forgets. Whoopps. Although you would think after a couple of times, she’d remember. LOL

When Eddie was alive, both he and Lolli got to racing around and binkying one night. Only they were each doing their own things and ran into each other. I was sitting on the couch, watching, just waiting for it to happen. LOL Bunnies do what I call “oopsies” from time to time.

Have you tried calling to her when she darts off towards the bedroom? It might make her slow enough to where she has a chance to remember the door is closed. Or she may be too in the moment and ignore you, but it’s worth a try at least.

That seems to be working, oddly enough. She’s not really one for listening. I mean…she listens, and she hears me, but she doesn’t follow my direction unless she wants to. Very strong willed

Most bunnies are! Lolli only listens when she wants to. Eddie would listen but still do whatever he wanted. lol Little stinkers. Well, hopefully by you keep getting her attention before she takes off for the bedroom, she’ll learn.
