When I go to pet Cotton he runs away now. HE never used to do that. Well I caught him up and leashed hiim. Took him out to the dock with me today.

Took him home and he still runs from me. I just want to pet you boo.   Well I had him to where he couldn’t run off and petted him. HE relaxed and gave some tooth grinds. Not like he used to though.  I wonder what is wrong with him.

        Thats not like him.

Could he be upset that you are spending time with Ruby and Honey Bun? Sometimes Mimzy will stink eye and snub me when he sees I have been paying attention to Fiver.
Has something changed with you? Something Cotton could scent, like medication changes or perfume?

            Did he get neutered recently?

My bun went through a phase where she kept running away from me too. I had to reteach her not to do that. (I’d calmly put my hand in front of her and let her bow to get pets, and then just pet her. I did this for a week, being super calm and never even trying to pick her up or get too close, and always ending first. Now she’s much more amiable to bow for pets as I walk by, even without my initiation.)

He does get upset when I give her attention I can’t just ignore her. Or cotton either.

What is working is I enjoy the other buns in the other room.  He has stopped running from me now. Maybe he thought I was taking him on a long trip and he didnt’ want to go.

HE is doing much better now though.  When I go to pet him I say You want some pettings or just pettings

when I go to pick him up I wait for hiim to go to his litterbox and he lets me pick him up from there. I need to remember to say up when I go to pick him up so he knows the difference.

He gets moody though he certainly is jealous little fellow.
