ruby’s play style

I have not really figured out her play style.  She chews a little bit.  Nothing like Cotton.  I made her a diggy/chew box she never chewed or dug in it.  Just put 2 poop is the most she has used it.

Sometimes she likes to bump her willow tunnel and roll it out of her way.  So I got her a round willow ball.  Nothing.  Fouad brought her a big soccer ball.   Nothing.

She doesn’t binky much.  She just likes to be petted a lot.  Thats not so bad.  Sometimes she climbs on me. 

I wanted to get them the play station that wooden tunnel like thing with toys attached all over it.  I am not so sure they would mess with it.  The only things they chew are the willow and those new wood chews from here.   I am going to figure out how to make a toy with that.  I can hang it in Cottons house and loop it or attach it all over.  Being careful he can’t choke himself on the sisal rope.

Same for Ruby.  That is when I get to order again.  I could also make our own wooden thing  and put their toys there too.

Does she like to knock down toilet paper tubes? Todd rolled balls around a little bit, but mostly just layed around in his favorite spot. But when I set toilet paper tubes up on their ends he would just have to go knock them over, or pick them up and throw them.

I can sure try that.  I have an empty one now.  Someone else had a bunny who didn’t play.  I would like to get her more active though. Somehow

My bunny doesn’t play much. The only thing he really loves is his tunnel. I made it out of a box and cut small holes on each end. Sometimes he will run really fast in and out of it. He will go out and sit in his castle (second level and look out the window) Other than that he rarely “plays”

I’m thinking I’m going to set up something with fleece. Something he can run through, like strips.

Have you tried any of the homemade toys from the toytest section? Also, you can spunk up the toilet paper rolls. Put hay, greens and couple of treats in it, then poke some holes throughout the roll, so your bunnies can smell the treats better and then see if she’ll tear into that!

Doggone…   I tore the last shreds of toilet paper off the roll and I think I threw it  in the trash when I got done.  I can’t find it.  I emptied the trash yesterday too so it must have been in there.   I will try to go thru a roll fast even tho will take a while cuz we get those giant sized ones. 

Can you believe that.  Dang.
