  It’s tme to cut back last years growth on the rose bush so that it can put out lots of spring shoots. I planned to save the trimming for Porky to chew and wear down his teeth on.
  
  The big question is, do I need to remove the thorns before I give them to him?

  I personally would, just to be on the safe side. Our bunnies haven’t grown up eating them, watching their mother eat them, thus learning to avoid the spikes. Plus it would suck to have to go to the vet for something that is so easily avoidable.
