I have found, in the morning after I get up, that Fiver will have one or two soft poops in his pen, usually not in the litter box, after a night where he’s had greens. I usually give him a few pieces of romaine lettuce at night as a treat.

According to his former owners, he can eat ‘vegetables’…no real list of what he can and can’t have. Has anyone with a rex or mini rex had trouble with giving them romaine lettuce before?

        Thankies for all responses!

I decided to do that last night, and just gave him some regular green leaf lettuce (not iceberg) this morning. So far, no problems.

It’s odd, they all have their preferences. Mimzy likes parsley, but not lettuce, Pip likes lettuce, but not parsley, and Fiver would eat anything that came across the table to him, as long as it’s not carrots! 0_o
I know rexes can have their tummies upset easier than most bunnies, so I’m trying to go slow with him and not overload his digestive system.
He also ate most of a mini willow ball yesterday, so I expect he’s going to have some issues today.

Oh Mimzy LOVED broccoli. But I stopped giving it to him because I think it gave him gas and I didn’t want a trumping bun. >.<
I haven’t tried cabbage or cucumber. I would think the cuke would give them tummy acid, I know it does to me. 0_o None of my bunnies seem to like any herbs or mint or anything like that. Odd.

I tried some green leaf lettuce on Fiver today and yesterday…no sign of loose stool, so I guess it’s all good. Great, now I have three picky bunnies who all need something different for green treats!
