How super impressed are you with your bunnies’ skills? I just recently learned that my bunnies can jump up and down (effortlessly btw) off of my bed which is only a few inches shorter then their pen! They can also de-bunny proof things and go inside their hidey house and move it to create a launch pad! And they are barely 1 year old (I will post their birthday pics later – super cute!) Do your bunnies shock you with their super-bunny skill?

Stan feeds the bunnies their pellets every morning, because he gets up early for work.  I feed them their dinner of veggies.  It’s our daily routine.

Well, a few days ago, I was up early and fed them.  Momo was apparently angry at the change of routine, because she picked up the ceramic ramekin filled with pellets and flung it into their nearby water bowl, where it splashed water everywhere and then began to float.

I called Stan in to see it, and we both had a serious laugh while Momo looked at us like what she had done was perfectly natural.

            Haha! That’s hilarious!

Well I recently discovered that Olivia can climb! As for Bindi, there’s not much he can’t get in or out of. He even figured out how to open the cupboard doors of our entertainment centre. Now we can’t keep him out of there. Stormy is a super jumper both with distance and height.

At my old house, I would only let Chacha wonder the living room. I was gone for 4 days in Oregon, and I spoke to my dad. Apparently, the little brat jumped the baby gate. I think she was looking for me or something.

Also, I’m impressed that Chacha will bother me ( by bonking me with her nose ) and I try to pet her, and she jumps or runs away. Is this a game? : P

Tait will jump onto my nightstand and from there onto my dresser to watch the fishies I will have to try and get a picture next time, he stands there with his front paws on the tank and just STARES 8| haha. The nightstand is the same height as the baby gate and he has yet to try and jump that… yet…

Sometimes our tall baby gate does not catch right and the buns will go in my daughter’s room and play with all her toys under the bed. They frequently run to the hallway to see if it’s been left open again. Gabby learned to jump the smaller baby gate we had by watching our cat jump it. Thumper has also learned he can get on a basket I have and leap onto the computer desk to help whomever is typing.

LizzieKnittyBun, I thought you meant the pellets landed in the water dish and floated. I love the pix – that one’s amazing! Too funny.
Chacha – yes, she wants to play. She has fun, you assist.

I love how smart bunnies are. It always comes as a bit of a shock.

Theyre definitely pretty amazing! I cant believe how they teach eachother things,  prior to sophie moving in Cady would use pillows I have next to my bed as steps to come up and visit, but now after seeing sophie could jump from the ground onto the bed he decided to try it and is able to do it easily.  They also know exactly where the hay and their treatts are!  plus they both know their names and the commands here and up, I love it!!

LizzieKnittyBun – Do you know what breed Momo is? I just adopted a bunny who looks just like her, and the rescue said she was a dwarf mix!

The new bun’s name is Winnie and she’s much bigger than Miles, who’s MAYBE 3 lb. at 7 months old, but she hasn’t figured out she can jump onto the bed yet.  He’s been doing it for maybe 3 months, and it’s a little more than 2 feet high!  I know when he’s scheming because he gets this absolutely crazed look in his eyes.  Its pretty funny

The only thing that has shocked me about my rabbit so far was that when he was just a teenny tiny baby, he jumped right onto the couch o_o and his speed shocks me sometimes. One second he is behind me and the next he is somewhere else, likeee flash~

                              HAhah these are fun!!!
Huckles shocked me when she started learning how to open the cabinets and then push them shut again so they make a lot of noise. This is her way of ringing the service bell and demanding the veggie drawer be open in the fridge.
I love having company over because she shows off. She doesn’t binky much when its just the three of us but when we have a guest, especially a female, she will binky and race around and act like the sweetest little bun ever. She is like a 3 yr old showing off her latest finger painting to the new person. “Look at me! Look at me! Im awesome, arent I!?”

Yeah! Winnie has almost the same exact markings, except she’s grey and white instead of black and white. We have sisters from anotha’ motha!

Is she as much of a goof as Momo? Because Momo is a GOOF.

I’m always shocked at Oreo’s ability to find trouble. Just yesterday I was scooping out her litter box into a plastic bag and she came over and started digging at the bag even though she knows this is a no-no. So I picked up the bag and said “no” and she goes racing around the room doing bunny 500s. Then she comes back to where I put the bag down and digs at it again and does the same thing when I pick it up and say “no”. She did this over and over again. Needless to say it took me twice as long to clean her 2 boxes but it was a hilarious game!
