Alright, this might be a stupid question, but do I need to separate a rabbit with a RI? My current man is recovering (but still sneezing). I guess what I’m asking is if they’re contagious, and for how long they are. Problem is that I’m picking up his healthy bunny buddy in a few days and was planning on keeping in separate pens for now but in the same part of the house, no doors separating them. I’m afraid the new rabbit will get ~infected~. I don’t know why I haven’t thought about this yet, I’d have asked this much sooner if I had!

Generally, no. They aren’t contagious. BUT, it depends on what caused the URI to begin with.
