Some of you may have read in another thread about how I was helping someone transport some bunnies that have splayed legs. I have them at my house right now and they are the sweetest things! They don’t get around like normal bunnies, they kind of use their knees as feet, but they do get around, they are exploring my living room right now. One of them actually did a binky earlier too! It was the cutest thing I think I have ever seen.

That’s the little guy that binkied. I’ve been calling him Ducky. . . for some reason he reminds me of that optical illusion that is a duck and a rabbit.

"Ducky" again, please excuse my mess, this week has been crazy with having these guys and catching "thumper" (I’m not sure what Tiffany is going to end up calling him. Oh and I keep tellin her to post on here, but she doesn’t like online forums for some reason.)

GAH! My computer is being retarded. . . . I will be back with more.

What a cute doll face! I want to just pick him up and cuddle him! I’m sorry to hear that Tiffany won’t be paying us a visit. : ( That makes me sad. Oh well, maybe she has had some bad experiences.

Oh way too cute!  What’s the deal on splayed legs?  Can they not walk at all?  Where are these buns going or just send me to that thread as I don’t recall reading about them…thanks.

knowltons- They are going to Union Missouri which is about forty five minutes from my house. I am actually about to leave to take them there pretty soon. They can’t walk or hop persay like normal bunnies, they kind of use their knees as feet to scoot around but they do get around.

Is that a rescue?  Why did you get them in the first place? I suppose using a litter box is difficult?

They came from Saveabunny in California originally and were flown in through St. Louis. A member of another forum I am on is adopting them. I ended up picking them up because she was unable to get off work the night they were flown in so I stepped in and offered to help out with the transport. I am not sure what she is going to end up figuring out for the litterbox issue. The foster home they were in used puppy pads. I’m thinking something along the lines of sheepswool (I think that’s what it is) is going to end up working best for her because she can wash it. They are going to a great home.

Thanks for the explanation.  Save a Bunny is where I got my bunny!  A fantastic rescue. That’s awesome someone is adopting them and so great of you to help!  What a great story.

LOL – I wasn’t on this forum until late last night, after I made several e-mails and postings about Holiday & Fiesta, in order to get Joann & Marcy and everyone else updated.

Osprey PMed me your thread here – He hadn’t realized I was the one who adopted them, and his little Deanna came from the same shelter these guys were originally turned in to.

I figured I’d post an update here about the babies. I may have time to be online for a while today but since I didn’t go to work last night I’m feeling kind of guilty and need to get stuff done here at the house… or go shopping for the bunnies!

Lol, I always have fun shopping for my babies! I have a BAD habit of spending way too much everytime I go out shopping for them though.
