Also, I think you mentioned potentially getting a rabbit in a couple years— deciding where to adopt a rabbit is one of the very last steps of the process. I didn’t know where I was going to adopt my second rabbit until a few weeks beforehand, and at that point, I had all the necessary supplies and understanding of those living with me as well.
If it’ll be a few years or even several months, now would be the time to start researching what caring for a pet rabbit requires and whether it is a right fit for you. A pet rabbit is definitely not for everyone, for a lot of different reasons, so a lot of research needs to be done beforehand to make sure it’s the best decision for you.
