Now I am really worrying, I made an appointment with the vet today at 4 do u guys know why is this happening? I am really worried

Hey guys! just came from the new vet! They love bunnies there I felt so happy cause the vet I went to last friday didn’t know anything about them I asked the doctor a million questions lol but he was so nice, he answered everything and gave me a lot of sheets of information on bunnies. He analyzed Sophie and palpated her for babies, he also took her to aother doctor to make sure she wasn’t pregnant and she’s not! Sophie also dropped blood on her carrier ad I showed him pictures of the red in the pee and he said it was definitely blood. He said that the best  thing is to spay her so I made an appointment for next Friday. But, he said that if she keeps dropping blood after today that I should spay her sooner. He’s gonna know what the blood is after the operation. She also has her left eye a litte swollen but he said that since I’m coming back next week to keep an eye on her and he’s gonna check her again when I bring her back. So, all in all good news for now. After I spay her I’m going to adopt a male bunny from the Wildlife Center so she’s happier and another bunny finds a forever home He told me it would be really good for her so I can’t wait! Thank you guys so much for all the support you are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! And if anyone lives in Broward County, Florida I reccommend this vet 100% they are amazing! It’s called Broward Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital. Oh! and he said she’s probably a Havana bunny or maybe a Dwarf, and that she’s older than 6 months that she’s an adult. He also said that besides being unspayed and having a false pregnancy, that we don’t know her past and how the people she was with treated her but that spaying her should calm her a little

Okay I think I talked a lot haha sorry for the post being so long!

Is is really blood? Rabbits can have different colored pee. A red/orange isnt abnormal, my bunny Davey has redish pee sometimes.

This topic comes up a lot. My bun Mops has red pee. True bloody urine looks more like black spots throughout. Read this article but have your vet check her just in case.

My Monkey got bright red pee the first time she ate carrot, silly thing scared me with it until I searched and searched online about it. Hope everything goes ok at the vet.

I think a vet check is still a good idea especially if there is a question of her being pregnant. Let us know how it goes!

I envy you for having an exotics vet close by. Thank you for the write-up, it is always interesting to read what the vets have said about a presented condition.
