Redundant Mum…

..this is the 4th week i’ve been signed off work, and having just returned from having a huge great steroid injection in my head, i am a little clearer headed.  It’s occurred to me the last few days that I don’t need to worry so much about going on a much needed holiday in 2 weeks time and leaving my babies with the boyfriend’s sister.  My babies are FINE whether I am here or not.  lol  They are quite content with themselves, much to my sadness, and perhaps actually prefer it when i’m not fussing over them.   Little buggers!!

how about… your babies will be fine while you’re on holidays AND binky happy to see you return?  yup, i think thats it! 

good grief spacehopper… an injection in the head?  really?  eeek!  hope you’re feeling better with your break from work.  so, where are you going for holidays?

eeeek indeed, as it bloody hurts!! Ouch!

I spoke too soon it seems… (a small warm fuzz of bunnylove has surged through me) lol, a friend has just left with her TWO of THREE kiddies. The little boy loves the rabs and went off to see them… it went quiet so i went to check and found him under the bed. As i walked in, both my babies leapt at me and hid behind my legs to escape the child harrassing them. lol “Right Mr, out, no scaring the rabbits, no no no”… says I, “but rabbits hungry” says he…”NO OUT!” So for the rest of their visit the rabbits were “sleeping” and the door remained firmly shut. I’ve calmed the buns down and they are perfectly happy again, but I am still needed by the terrible two. hehehe!!

Spain or Gran Canaria for the hols…all i know is i NEED SOME SUN!!!!

I also realise that my home is 100% bunny proofed and -7% child proofed! (an evil grin of contentment spreading ever the more)

lol… this is how it’ll be at my place for easter dinner with my niece & nephew visiting the ‘easter buns’.  tho they’re young enough to be frightened by unfamiliar animals.  see… you’re still THE mum of all mums to your buns.  so cute.  ooh you’re so lucky living close (relatively speaking) to such great holiday options!

hehe you poor thing. I feel absolutely shattered and run ragged by the little terrors!! (he had even climbed ON to their cage and “shut door” because he has only ever seen rabbits inside a cage. quite cute, but not for me thanks!! I’ll stick to my furry bundles of joy.  lol

I hear you there are no kids here thank goodness my hubby used to bring the neighbors kids in to see my buns and they would poke in the cage oh boy did I fuss my poor buns all frightened at the loud unruly little humans eeeek. no wmy buns are safe we moved and no kids here phew. relief omg a head shot ouchie. hope you feeling better now

Hope you feel better Spacehopper! Good ol’ blighty can get pretty draining at this time of year (rain, cold, sun but cold, rain, snow, rain, rain, fog!). I can throughly recomend southern CA at this time of year, a nice and sunny 18C yesterday! Although the funny locals think it’s cold. Ha, they know nothing!!!!!! Was out by the pool in me bikini the other day… people walking past in thermals looking at me like I was bonkers!

Glad your buns still need you. I am also of the child free persausion… I like children, I just couldn’t eat a whole one ; )
