So one of the rabbit peed on my bed and its a reddish/pinkish color. They have never had that color pee before. Maybe I dont notice because they pee in their litter pans most of the time but is it normal? I have not changed their diet. They have peed on my bed before and it had never been red/pink.

Red/pinkish pee is normal for bunnies. As long as it doesn’t really look like there’s blood/blood clots in the pee and she’s not straining to pee, you have nothing to worry about.

It doesnt look like blood. I just got a little worried because they have never had the color pee before as far as I know.
            Thanks.

Sometimes certain greens can make it reddish. Also when it’s been in contact with the air it can go red/brown/orange.

Rabbits can have yellow, red, and orange colors of urine that is normal.

My rabbits get red/orange pee from Swiis chard, especially the red kind. I think kale did it too, but they don’t get kale anymore- to much calcium. It’s alarming to see at first, but harmless.

Thanks everyone. I dont even remember what I fed them that day. The only things that I dont feed them on a regular basis is kale, parsley, collards and radish greens. Maybe it was one of those.
