        Hi, (particularly K&K)

You’ve been mentioning the plushies that your buns like Chuck love. K&K you said you make sure they all have one. I have been shopping for a stuffed animal for Sammy, but don’t like the look of most of them in terms of what she might chew. She has yet to chew holes in a towel – she just chews up baskets and seagrass mats for the most part (and wood) but I don’t know what to get. I got one little thing for a dog that was supposedly animal safe, but it is flat and not soft, and she ignores it totally.

Please recommend brands and places to buy if it’s OK with BB to do so. Pix may help.

        Thanks.

          Hi, Everyone,
I didn’t mean JUST K&K. I’d love all of you suggestions. Thanks.

Haha – poor rabbitpam, all lonely and ignored. 😉 My bunnies don’t have stuffed animals…but my best suggestion would be to check out the baby department since they like to chew on stuff too and most parents would be upset by small parts that could be chewed off. Then it would just be a matter of if she decided to chew through to the stuffing, so you’d just have to monitor and see how she does. But if she doesn’t chew towels, maybe you can get a cute little animal made out of a terrycloth type material and hopefully she won’t chew that either.

Let us know if you find something, I’m curious to see what you get.

I know our Hoopie has a small Moose we call Bullwinkle he kisses on and carries around. Hes only about 4″ long. The rest of the buns tear up stuff animals. Not sure why Hoopie is attracted tot he Moose.

2 of my rabbits have plushies. Actually Bindi just got his this weekend. I bought them at Walmart in the dog section. Just look for a basic toy with cloth/sewn eyes and no parts she can chew (whiskers, fur, etc). I bought a bear for Olivia and a purple hippo thing for Bindi. The hippo had some furry hair tufts on his head and bum but I just cut those parts off. Olivia also has a bear from the Toys R Us baby department. It was meant to hold a gift card and I cut the plastic gift card section off. Make sure the stuffies are not bean filled just in case she happens to chew a little hole in them. All these stuffies were only $3 each so that was a plus too!

Fiver’s favorite toy is one of those little ‘fruit’ toys that I got at PETCO. He grooms it every day.
Mimzy has a plush carrot that he snuggles up to by the same company. They are well stitched and nothing on them I have to worry about them swallowing.

They’re called Happy Harvest Rabbit Toys:

I am on a hunt for two of the Happy Harvest carrots now!   All of the sites say that you will receive any of the three when you order- I want the carrots!    I couldn’t find them at Petco or Petsmart online.  Hmmm……the things I do for my bunnies
