        Hello everyone!

Okay so ever since recently I’ve had lots of advices given to me over here and so I would like to thank everyone because I can see how dedicated everyone is! Ok so anyways as you can see from the pic..early of this month,my two litter mates bucks fought and then after that,I straight away separated them as they fight was pretty bad..and it’s been a few weeks..I’m probably going to start prebonding them next month tho (for them to cool off for awhile) and I’ve heard that baby bonds aren’t truly bonded so does that mean when I want to bond them, they won’t recognise each other or what? I mean should I consider it like it’s their first meeting like when you brought another bunny home type of way ya know? Hehe also can I ask,can rabbits that eats pellet (I only give them a spoon in the morning and that’s it) not eat pellets for a week? I mean they get fresh veggies and plenty of hay everyday so is it alright? My rabbits pellet is all stocked out in pet stores so I had to purchase them online but the delivery is quite long! So long that’s all for now,Thank you!

          Hi there,

Yes, when you re-introduce them, assume they will not recognize each other or remember their old relationship and go from there.

And yes if you have plenty of hay (and they eat their hay well) and veggies it’s OK to skip pellets for a week!

Oh my seriously! Oh what a relief! Haha also I’ve started to prebond them today and so far I’ve only seen positive results..for an example:

            – both of them seem to do the super bunny position and looks really comfortable!

            – one of my buns tried to like my buns head!

-also is it okay if at first, one of my buns tried to lick?or nip my other buns neck..

-i gave both of them pets when they were laying down with eachother and they seem super content!

-ALSO THEY ATE THEIR PELLETS TOGETHER!!

AHH when I brought my buns together,my heart was literally pounding so hard and I was super worried that they’ll fight again..but the session just now only lasted for an hour and so right now they are placed in pens beside each other but the pens still have a quite little distance incase they tried to bite each other again..ALSO THANK YOU SO MUCH! I’ve been reading lots of articles on bonding rabbits and it lifted up my spirit and made me feel assured! Also can I feed them together? Like when it’s feeding time and I feed them veggies..can I let both of them eat together without being caged?like just let them see and interact with each other! And that’s all haha AGAIN THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

P.s whenever they get to interact with other other,my rabbit (dash) seemed to aim at my other rabbit’s neck! (grey)

What does this normally mean? I didn’t let dash do anything to grey as I was holding him..so he wasn’t practically free..to do anything to the other rabbit..also when dash aimed at the neck, grey seemed to be bowing his head down..

Feeding them veggies and pellets together is great, either during pre-bonding (so separated by a barrier), or during bonding sessions, as long as one bun doesn’t get food aggressive.

When they approached either other’s neck, were his ears forward or back? He was probably considering mounting if his ears were facing forwards. If that’s the case, OK to let it happen just be prepared to intervene if the other bun isn’t happy about it.

Ears pinned back and tail up is aggressive, so intervene right away if they are approaching each other that way.
