Hi everyone! It’s our first post with BinkyBunny although you guys have been my guiding light since getting my princess.
Recently, we walked into a pet store, cuddled some bunnies, and were claimed by a gorgeous Holland Lop that we brought home with us.
We named her Bitsie.
Bitsie was a gorgeous little soul and we tried for a week to bond her with our two Lionheads Muffin and Teddy.
Muffin didn’t like Bitsie much, but Teddy didn’t mind her. We did bath bonding, and stress tests to attempt the bonding faster.
Unfortunately, Bitsie got sick and passed away last Wednesday. She was ill with diarrhea, we raced her to the vet, got her an array of medications but the next day she wouldn’t swallow her food and she suffocated (needless to say we are devastated)…
The problem I am having now, is Teddy and Muffin aren’t coping so well with each other. We have cleaned their housing and shook things up a bit, showered them with love, new toys etc. But they are constantly fighting now. Fur flying kind of fighting.
Normally they are fine with each other, and apart from taking them for a car ride, I’m at my wits end with trying to make them be the happily married couple they were before Bitsie.
What do you suggest we do to make them quit this behaviour?
Help!!!
