        Hi there,

        I am desperate for help!

Quick run down of the bunnies –

        – 6yr old spayed female

        – 2yr old neutered male (rescue bun with his own set of querks – i.e. hates walking on tiles)

The bunnies have access to my entire apartment but tend to stick to the sitting room (and the rug). the 2 year old bunny has difficulty walking on tiles and will not leave the carpet (I am working on him and tiles but that is a whooooole other story).

The bunnies have now turned the sitting room rug into a giant litter box and it is driving me mad. I have washed the rug and am ready to put it back down but need some help with the litter training. They have a corner in the sitting room with a ‘hutch’ and a litter box that they should be using, and another litter box in the middle of the sitting room under the coffee table (their favorite place to sit), but just seem to poop everywhere. I’m desperate for help and really don’t want to section them off too much.

PS – Because of the bun not liking tiles, removing the carpet it not really an option at the moment.

Can you put a litter box on that rug, then slowly start inching the litter box away from the rug?
