So, I have this ‘bunny condo’ that doesn’t have a door on it just two layers for extra height and jumping made of those metal cubes in c & c cages and solid bottoms (they are free run in my room all day and rest of the house when I’m home)

And the bunnies love it a lot and generally rest under all the layers on the bottom whenever they sleep ect

Just my problem is that the bottom goes a bit to far back and if I have to get the bunnies out for anything it’s a really rather stressful situation for the buns since I can’t reach properly

So I’ve decided I’m going to re do it and make it less far in so I’ll ge able to grab them easier in situations where I need to get them

So I was wondering if anyone wanted to post pics of their bunny condos or bunny layers so I can figure out what to change it to

Post pics! It’s hard to help without seeing! What about making the top open like a big lid?

I’m about to build one of these bad boys soon also so I’d like to see pics!

Well I got to excited about changing it so I tried something else

I’ll post photos anyways though! Warning- I just call it a condo, it’s not really like the cages everyone makes its really rather odd

First image: behind their hay basket thay they like to dart through

Second image: Shallow top layer cause Sketch specifically I found likes to find a hiding area that has a low roof that’s high up, usually draped with a blanket because he enjoys the shade. Includes matts to cover wires, a memory foam matt on top of that, and a small cat bed he likes to lounge in in the back

Third: bottom area thay just includes a memory foam matt because Acrylic seems to like bid wide areas and won’t sleep on anything but a memory foam matt

Fourth: has a small step up and then the next layer which is in between top and bottom, used a shoe rack for this one and their water is kept there so if they spill like they like to its easy to clean

            Fifth: Overall area

Sixth: close up to their chair thst they like to jump up and down and sit under

Seventh: top area has a mini foam pillow thing that they like to sit on and bottom area shows that laundry basket can slide out. Sketch is kinda like what are you doing moving stuff around?

Eighth: better look at inside basket of hay

Their litterbox are om other side of the room this is just the one wall rest of room bigger

I see what you mean, it’s not so much a condo as a bunny space with girds and cage type components that make all sorts of hiding areas

It’s tricky to know exactly what to suggest, I think you’re main problem is all the walls inbetween the different areas. It would be easier if you just has support posts where needed, or no walls at all. If you need a wall for hiding, rather than support, just hang a piece of fleece.

Mine is just a traditional condo, I’m not sure sharing a pic will be much help to you but here it is anyway

There are a lot of pictures of condos here, if anyone is interested in making one.

So I was trying something and I made it so the level in picture four can be easily removed and this seems to give me much better access to the middle area so I can grab them easily if needed which was my problem with this one! So I think I’m happy with it now

                    More bunny cage things https://imgur.com/gallery/OIvX0

Picture of the two parts seperated

And thanks Toby! I should save that incase I decide to change it up again
