I feel like I should know this, and I swear I saw this on an ok list but can rabbits have Rapini? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rapini   (also known as Broccoli Rabe (or Raab), Broccoletti, Saag (Punjabi)Broccoli di Rape, Cime di Rapa, Rappi, Friarielli (in Naples), and Grelos))

Does anyone know? I just bought some, it looks yummy but I’ll wait for word if I can feed it

I think it would be. It’s a type of mustard green / turnip green and they’re both safe. I’ve seen at my fruit and veg but not come across it on a list.

I just did a quick dana krempels/Rapini search and this is what I found http://en.allexperts.com/q/Rabbits-703/2008/8/Fresh-Veggies.htm

She just mentioned along with broccoli, noting some bunnies are sensitive to it, but most tolerate it well.

From what I’ve read on etherbun too, just introduce slowly to make sure your bunny doesn’t get gassy.

I don’t have anything to add about Rapini but Brian (the hubby) just wanted to mention that he loves BB’s avatar

Ah, thanks, MooBunnay’s hubby – That actually is Vivian’s Adoption Photo from SaveABunny. So the photo credit goes to Marcy the founder, and the rabbitude credit goes to Vivian.

Thanks guys!! Mine have always tolerated broccoli (and most of the gas causing veggies) very well-and I sooo thought it was ok but then couldn’t find anywhere that said it was. It was expensive, but it’s different and I thougth Chuck might ike it-he’s getting so many veggies now (I’d guess about 80% of his intake) he must be getting sick of some of them now so I wanted to switch it up. Hopefully he likes it! I’ll go give him some now
