What do you mean ‘what accent’??? I know an American accent, but manic’s is sooo different! I know it’s southern, but wow – it truly is nothing that I’ve ever heard from anyone except manic! It takes me by surprise every time – I love it! (but not as much as the bunnnnies!), giggle.

I didn’t hear an accent, but then again.. I spent most of my life in SC, and I have been accused of a range of accents over the years.

I’ve been accused of having a southern drawl (possible, but I don’t hear it), being from Massachusetts(?) or Ohio (?), having a German accent… it’s all over the place. lol
AH, Maybe I can borrow Bumpy once in a while… since he and Bonnie and Clyde seem to get along so well? I’ll just have a house full of re-homed and visiting bunnies.

Andi, I have to admit (don’t tell Bonnie or Clyde), Bumpy is my favorite. Maybe it’s because he was my first. Or maybe it’s because he’s a lop. Whatever the reason, whenever I think about the possibility of something bad happening to him, my heart gets a little squeeze and tears will spring up in my eyes while I keep reminding myself that nothing IS wrong with him and to stop thinking bad things before something happens. I don’t get like that with the other two. They are ok… and while I know I definitely would shed a tear (or two) if one of them died… I would be a wreck if Bumpy did.

A few years back, I was chatting with some fellow gamers on our ventrilo channel and we had a guest accompany one of them into the room. I swear I had spoken maybe 30 seconds before she says, “manic? Are you from Richmond?” I thought I was trippin! She currently was living in California, but she was from Richmond and had picked up on one of the words I used and how the accent sounded with it. I’ll have to say that my “accent” has definitely picked up that slow southern drawl over the last 20 yrs of being married to my husband. When I was a teen, I was asked many times if I was from New York, Philly, or Jersey, but perhaps I was just manic and speaking really fast… hmmm

If I had to say what kind of accent I had, I’d say I had a mix between “Yankee” and some Southern. Not really the slow Drawl like in Texas, but like… a Florida accent? Something like that?
AH—Do you have a really cool Aussie accent?
