In my massive condo there are twp ramps that lead to each level.  the ramps are pretty standard with the little cross bars on them.  Both my guys go up and down them without an issue however sometimes they mis step on the way down and go crashing into a wall.  I was thinking about butting something between each cross bar to give them better grip or getting the main ramp cut in half and giving them a box to jump up onto and then up the ramp if that  makes sense.

        Any suggestions would be great.

You could try fixing a seagrass matte to each ramp, the kind that is thicker, so they would get a grip with their toes with each step.

Maybe a very small box under the ramps to lift them, so the angle isn’t quite as steep as another option. If the steepness turns out to be the problem and the small box works, you could substitute it with a couple of wooden blocks nailed to the end of the ramp to lift it, but keeping it a more open space.

Bugz was going up then down then up then down then up and stop in the middle for a groom then up the rest of the way then down, I did not realise how unhappy there where with the ramp till i altered it!

                aaww cute.
I use carpet on my ramps, but I find after a while it’s still not giving enough traction. I am thinking of attaching a few little slats of wood on top of the carpet.

Do you have a picture of your ramps?

I will try and take some tonight and post tomorrow. I have wooden slats along the run so have fitted the carpet between each slat
