I just got a new bunny and I’ve only ever had a lop rabbit. The new rabbit is from a petstore and is around 8-9 weeks. He appears to be a lion head. He’s acting completely normal but I started to notice one ear seems to be dropping a little. I just want to know if he could be mixed with a lop or if it’s something I should be more concerned about.  Also yes he’s in a cage for a little bit but his door is open and he’s always out to free roam. Thank you

As long as there isn’t something going on in his ear (ear infection, ear mites, etc.), then it’s possible that he has a little bit of lop mixed in there. Sometimes lop mixes have helicopter ears. Since he came from a pet store, I would suggest taking him to the vet for a wellness check. This will rule out any problems with his ear.

Okay yes, he’s been acting completely normal getting the zoomies and doing binkies around the house. I will make an appt to get a wellness check though! Thank you!
