I’ve worked with a master herbalist I met on another list and she did some mixtures and tinctures for one of my rabbits. Needless to say my rabbit did not like the tincture at all. I loved the idea though. My vet doesn’t have any experience with the herbal remedies so she wasn’t able to give recommendations on any of the mixtures or tincture I got. I think I would have to find one of those holistic vets if I ever went that route again.

I have done animal communication with some of my rabbits though.

This site has been posted previously and we had a lengthy discussion about it.  Scarlet Rose knows about herbal remedies and she was able to clear up many misconceptions about what was on that site.

Please refer to this thread for more info… https://www.binkybunny.com/FORUM/tabid/54/a…fault.aspx

It is important that you work with a trained animal herbalist and/or in conjunction with a rabbit vet WITH herbal training.  It is also important these people have seen and examined your rabbit in the flesh.  Do not self-medicate your rabbits or medicate based on what you have read online.  You may do more harm than good.

One thing to mention-even if it’s herbal that doesn’t mean it’s totally safe and benign. If your rabbit is on ANY medication or going to be on any medication-tell your vet if your treating with herbals-they can certainly interact and you don’t want that
