Rabbit t-shirt: your ideas?!

So I’m going to be making some new t-shirts for the old website (and for myself) and I was wondering if you have any ideas for rabbit-themed t-shirts.  One of those ideas that you wish you could find somewhere online… but can’t.

Really, it’s mostly for me because only my david hasselhoff shirt really sells in any large amounts.  The rest are onesy-twosey sales.  If he’s drunk on TV, I sell 10 shirts!  If he’s on TV, I sell one.

 

Currently…I’m working on something along the lines of the old joke… “How do you know carrots are good for your eyes?”  “Never seen a rabbit with glasses, have you?”

If you go to cafepress.com and search “rabbit” or “bunny” or “bunnies” you can find some inspiration! There’s all kinds of interesting designs people have made. I’m a fan of “bunny slave” ones.

I have a sign that is pink and says “Death awaits you all with sharp nasty pointy teeth” and has a picture of a bunny. Something portraying cutsy fluffy bunnies as killers is pretty funny

Sage_Cat, I couldn’t quite figure out the design until I remembered picking them up as a kid and blowing on them. I forgot about the wish bit though, we used to say that fairies would sit on each seed when they got tired of flying. So we’d blow them and chase the seeds trying to find the fairies lol!

Do you mind if I steal the idea for a bag? I’m trying to get into designing my own bags for all my uni books Something to do over the summer holidays…teaching myself to sew! Should be interesting lol.

Ha ha!, Erbear, just saw pic of Radar(I think?) in your bio pic, reading a book, and the chapter heading is “Getting those who deserve to be gotten”! LOL.
You could always do Frankie Fan Club Tees with permission from his Mum of course!

And yes… that’s Radar reading her favorite book. There were craisins on it to help her though

I like the idea of the cute little rabbit coupled with a threatening message.

Some other quotes re the Monty Python/Holy Grail you could use…….hehe!

“Oh, it’s just a harmless little bunny isn’t it?” On the back you could put a human bone and some rabbit paw prints tracks.

You could try angle about what bunnies are “famous” for (humping).  The bunny could either have an attitude of “It’s not fair, I tell you!  I really am a sensitive guy!” or the poor bunny is worried about living up to his stereotype (looking worried while viewing a Noah’s Ark pic) is a lot of work  or “They shoulda named it Bunnystyle”.  Or a bunny wearing glasses with a title “Bunny Mythbusters” a) no it does not make you go blind and b) eat a lot of carrots just to be sure

A picture of a cute bunny butt with tail “Talk to the tail because the bunny does not care about your problems”.

“It’s not all about you, now go make me a salad.”

“Little did the unsuspecting owner know, but she was about to experience the dreaded stink eye”.

You could always do a “list type shirt”

to do list:  give bunny treat, give nose rubs, fetch another bunny treat, make salad, vacuum, give more noserubs, etc…

Another I was thinking is a pic of a very disapproving rabbit with the words “Welcome to the winter of my discontent”

I also thought of the Noah “Go fourth and multiply” theme but ended up with image of those words under a cartoon pic of 4-ply toilet tissue – Oi! *shake head*

I could see the Frankie Fan Club photo as a clock – with his ears as hands – instead of numbers it sez: give bunny treat, give nose rubs, fetch another bunny treat, make salad, vacuum, give more noserubs

Hy husband suggested a pic of three bunnies with the title “The Girls Next Door”.  For those of you that may not get that program- it is about Hugh Heffner and his 3 live in girlfriends- all blonde playbunnies- Bridget, Holly and Kendra (although Holly and Kendra have moved on to “real boyfriends now, so they will no longer be on the show).

I’m sure he already has enough harlequin rabbitude. Something about being told you’re beautiful all the time goes to their heads. I think that sounds like a lovely idea to use his image in an official fan club t-shirt.

I might have to open a new store-front for all these great ideas. This should keep me occupied for a while. Yay for bunny t-shirts!
