How old is he? He might have hit puberty and hormones are making him aggressive.

            Hi!

Also, if he has any dental issues, it may be causing him to be aggressive along with the hormones if he is young.

Evan is 1 1/2 years old (in human years, of course)

Has he been neutered? Unfixed rabbits can suddenly become hormonal and aggressive.

Hormones or pain are the primary reasons for sudden aggression. If a bunny is in pain it usually comes with other symptoms as well, for example lack of appetite or “strange” behaviors aimed at alleviating the pain (actively pressing tummy against floor if there’s stomach pain, drinking to much or sitting with the nose in the water bowl for dental pain etc).

An unneutered bun can start displaying hormonal behavior at any time. Typical hormonal behaviors are territoriality, pee-and poop marking, aggression, sexual invites (circling, grunting, nipping and pursuing object of desire).

He has been nuetured, and he isn’t showing any signs of pain, but I bet it’s just hormones. He’s getting better and friendlier anyways. Thanks!
