Hello, I’ve had my bunny for 4 months now so I’m not very experienced and I worry about everything, she’s been sleeping all the time, is that normal or could she be sick? does rabbits sleep alot during winter?  it’s not cold here.. she’s eating fine, but it’s less than before because she’s sleeping

Bunnies sleep a lot during the day. They are most active early in the morning and in the evening. As for it being too cold, as long as she is inside, she will be fine. Bunnies tend to prefer cooler conditions… just not freezing conditions.

We would need a little more information to see if it’s too much sleep but I will give you some info on my experience with.my buns. They like to play early in the morning and I’m the evening and sometimes during the night. During the daytime they sleep a lot. They are usually in bed by 9 in the morning, get up for a snack around 1 to 2, and then nap again until I’m off work at 4. So truly, they sleep a lot during the day!

If you got your rabbit when  she was younger, it’s very possible it hasn’t been until now that her sleeping is more so aligned with a usual rabbit. Like human children, sometimes it takes a while for them to regulate to what “should be” their sleep schedule. My rabbits usually sleep from 10AMish to 5-6PMish, with one of them doing a little early afternoon snack.
