         Hello!

Okay… so I get the different weights from different rabbit breeds. But I can’t really ge the actual size of them. Sooooo can you guys either take a picture of your rabbit next to something, that is like universally the same size. Such as a ruler… I don’t know lol. Or just post about how big your rabbit is…

Chacha next to a 21 oz cup

She won’t sit still next to a ruler.

Her highness is of Netherland Dwarf descent, but does not have the real dwarf genetics.

The “N” on the block next to Monkey stands for netherland dwarf. Note though, Monkey is smaller then most!

I immediately thought of that pix of Monkey.

Sorry, these are pretty bad pictures (they weren’t up for modeling), but I think they’re good for reference.  Kevin (the black one) is a Holland lop and approximately 6lbs.  Rosy, is a Neatherland dwarf mix and about 1 1/2lbs.

We did a thread awhile back showing all of our buns next to pop cans or bottles.  It was a neat way to compare bun sizes!

Here’s my Zeusasaurus, French Lop/Mini Lop cross (I think!):

You need to find someone with a Flemish Giant and do a photoshoot with Monkey and the Giant.  It would make my head explode with cuteness.

Oh yes! Please do MB! Would someone in Rabbit Advocates have a BIG bunny? Though things could get out of hand if Monkey tries to “dominate” it. lol

I started a similar thread a couple of years ago. It got a little confusing when people started having to measure their money and soda cans. Apparently 12-oz soda cans aren’t the “standard” size in some areas.

Alright, now that that’s out of the way…OMG, MONKEY IS SO TINY! *head explodes* I’ve seen three week old bunnies that were bigger than that.

I’ll see if I can get some pictures of the big bunnies who are at the CO-HRS shelter right now. It’s too bad that a gigantic flemish giant just got adopted…she was big enough that she could almost jump over the 4.5-ft pens when I fed the bunnies papaya.

My bun is not quite 11 months old yet. She is a purebred English Spot, about 6 ish lbs. English Spots are a very long, lean breed of rabbit. She can stand on her hind legs and see well over the top of the coffee table. I know that does not help much.

This is Momo at 6 months with an Easter Basket

Momo at around 7 – 8 months next to a kids tunnel that is 19″ diameter.

Since pop cans seem to popular for size comparison……… here’s a Flemmie with a pop can!

There’s a good comparison. Monkey is barely bigger than the pop can, and Abby is that big next to one

I think we did this a few years ago where every one took pictures of thier buns next to cans for size refferance. No soda in my house. But, beer, heck yea!!!

I can’t resist: Wow that can is huge!

Momo would not hold still long enough to be measured with a tape measure, or even a pop can, and would probably end up throwing it. The pic I got of her with the easter basket was shear dumb luck.
