today i am really noticing rabbit pee smell, and my boys are pooping everywhere, i know it is the territorial pooping, and i got my NIC cage put back together, but i don’t have my boys in there, i mean i have the door open for them to go in and out but i don’t have them shut in yet cause the boys are not neutered yet…
Honeybun the alpha rabbit is first to go, to get neutered
would neutering help with male rabbit pee? the smell that is? my rabbits have not sprayed yet, but late late last night while i was sleeping Honeybun jumped on the bed on top of my dog, which startled the heck out of him and my dog barked and snapped at him, which caused Honeybun to get startled and he sprayed… gotten a little bit on me….
my dog have not hurt him or anything, it is like when i am sound asleep and Honeybun jumped on me which startled me and i would hollar hey! that what my dog reaction was like
it was rainy last night and today, perhaps that is why the smell is more noticable
when i get Honeybun neutered, do i need to shut him in the cage? leaving blackjack out??
i want to start retraining them to use the litterbox, i mean they are using the litterbox, but just leaving trails of poop here and there, even in the cage, in the area where honeybun likes to sleep or sit at, he leave poop there…….
or is it since they are bunnies, they will still leave trail of poop everywhere anyway, right?
i have had each of the boys for 5 months, i gotten them when they were a month old….
the thing i don’t like about the poops is that when i walk around barefooted and step on one of them dookies and they are like hard as a rock and hurts my feet sometimes.. and i am getting tired of dragging out the wet/dry vaccum out to clean up the dookies, i discovered that using regular vacuum cleaner don’t work on rabbit poo, well actually vaccumming up the rabbit poo and bits of hay is what killing the regular vacum cleaner, i have had the vaccum cleaner for 5 months and it is not sucking very well anymore…
i am feeling a tad guilty, i called in sick today at work, and i am not really sick, it is that it is rainy and i feel kinda draggy, this type of weather tends to make me feel really tired, and my left leg is hurting a lot, it have been bugging me for the past couple of days and i figured standing all day on my leg would not help any, i think again it is the weather… i told them that i woke up with my stomach hurting but that i was calling mainly about my leg how it was hurting a lot.. they said no problem, i was like cool… i work at a restuarant in the kitchen…there is a lot of busy work there, and requires standing all day long with half an hour lunch break and a couple of 5 min smoke breaks
i gotta go get some coffee, gotta get some energy
so what do i do? wait til both boys are neutered before putting them in their cage or what?
