I am bonding my two bunnies cinnimon and Ollie. Things seemed to be going great. Until Ollie started chasing and nipping cinnimon. He ripped tufts of fur from her. Cinnimon is now really nervous of him when I have them out. She runs away from him. She stops eat when he comes near her and she runs. ( I put food out when they are bonding). I don’t know what to do I have been bonding them for almost a month now. There cages are next to each other and I swap out toys everyday. They are spayed/neutered. Anything helps, thank you in advance.

Also I forgot to add that she does creep up at him and when he looks at her she darts away. I don’t know if she is teasing him or scared of him, but I think she is scared of him. It is a good thing she is faster than him.

Can you do some petting when they approach each other to try to keep them calm?

And do you only have them out together in neutral territory?

Ollie doesn’t like petting and most the time hops away when you try. I started them out in the bathtub then moved them to a food test then my sisters bedroom and they were doing great. Then I moved them to my room ( there pens are in my room and they both run around separately) they were doing great at first for days actually. Then Ollie started chasing her and all.

I think you may have moved to non-neutral territory a bit too fast. You want them to be basically bonded before you move them out of the neutral space.
