        Hi guys.  I am once again worried about my Elvira.  She had a tooth removed that was growing in her cheek about 6 months ago, but she has been fine.  now, she hasn’t really eaten or pooped.  we had some extra Critical Care in the fridge so we gave some to her a few hours ago and now.  i tried to feed her and she kept yawning.  whats up with that?  i have tried to see if she will get out of the funk by tomorrow, because a few of my bunnies have gone through this, but it wasn’t GI statsis.  it evened itself out.  any ideas?

          I have to wonder if she’s just trying to rearrange her mouth because she is having more dental problems…

            that is what happened the first time, when she was having hard food.  she was doing this in front of me when i was trying to hold her BEFORE i gave her thr foood,  odd.

            she is still not eating this morning and is very sluggish.

              I think you need to take her to the vet then.

                  That sounds good-best to get into the vet as soon as you possibly can. Keep up the critical care, and maybe some pedialyte if she’s not drinking? She does sound like she’s having mouth issues again. Keep us posted!!!! {{Elvira}}

                    I agree that a vet appt asap is a very good idea.  My Leo has had chronic teeth drama.  During our first 12 mos together he had to go to the vet about 3 times to get his mouth in a good spot.  Now I really only have to have yrly teeth filing.  My guy likely has a misaligned jaw that causes his teeth to grow unevenly.  W/ that I think that 6 mos might be a good check in point, especially since you have noticed feeding delays.
