When I move my hand toward my bunny to pet him, he lunges at it first, smells it for a second then lays back down for petting. Wonder if all rabbits do that?

Also would my bunny do what he does with me to all other humans. Like groom them and lick them or let them pet him. I kinda like the idea of these things being exclusive?

your bun probably thinks your hand is a threat, just keep petting him and he will learn that he doesn’t need to attack the hand. Some buns are good with strangers and some aren’t. It all depends on the buns personality.

How are you approaching? Bunnies don’t have great vision and can’t see right in front of them so if you put your hand right in front, he might feel threatened.

Yes it depends on their personality as far as the grooming and petting. Ours would groom Janice a lot and me sometimes but no one else. So it was exclusive with us. But after sniffing and becoming somewhat acquainted with a stranger she would accept pets from them.
