I have mine in pens, but there are some examples of creative indoor set-ups involving hutch-type things (haha) here: https://binkybunny.com/bunnyinfo/other-habitats/

Most hutches are too small but some people like to have the hutch as the “home base” for all the bunny’s stuff, but it’s left open to a larger area 24/7.

@DanaNM Thanks for the link, was just curious how others housed there buns if using a Hutch. Mine atm is in a playpen but was thinking of using a hutch as a homebase and making it easier for her litter pan and food. Also providing them another spot to hide if needed.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>I personally wouldn’t recommend the outdoor hutches indoors, often the timber is treated and it has a strong smell fresh out the box. I think a better home base option is a DIY wire grid cage, which is what I use, it has their litter trays, hay rack, hidey box, a water bowl, and I can close it up if needed. I do think the hutches are cute, just be wary of some options being treated.</p>
