About a week ago I noticed that my rabbit did not put weight on her front legs. She does go eat / drink but she did not run at home as she used to do. I was at the vet a few days ago and found out she has fur mites [scabies] and the vet said that because she has scabs on her front legs it prevents her from running properly. We vaccinated her and I’m supposed to do another one for her next week. But she has not put weight on her front legs lately at all, she just settles next to the bowl of food and water and sits on the other legs. I also noticed that she is constantly moving her front legs as if she has tics. Anyone know if this is normal?

Was your rabbit treated for the mites?

That doesn’t sound normal to me. She could also have an injury, not just the mites. Is your vet rabbit savvy?
