Hi! I’m new to this but I need some help on what to give my bun for her to play with while I’m at work, the only thing so far that she will use is cardboard/paper (she eats it too so I can’t give her it often), a sea grass mattress which she has enjoyed eating and a carrot shaped loofah. I want to be able to give her a selection of toys to rotate so she doesn’t get bored but I cannot find anything else she likes!

Plastic baby toys! Cups, bowling pins, giant legos, linking rings etc.

Some more options that my rabbit loves:

Slinkys, fleece blankets for digging, woven willow balls, toy race cars, jingle balls (cat or bird toys), cardboard boxes, woven hay tunnels, treat ball

Honestly though, free toys are often the best! Toilet paper tubes, packing boxes, shredded paper, junk mail…

On a side note, don’t get too worked up if you find your rabbit isn’t playing much and not showing destructive behaviors as a result of boredom or loneliness– Wick does not play. He just trots around and lounges all day while I’m at work, haha.

My rabbit refuses to play with any of her toys. I always buy tons, and it can get a little frustrating that she has no interest in them. LOL.
Moxie will really only play with toilet paper/paper towel tubes, and she has a cat treat dispenser ball that I put pellets in. That’s how I feed her her pellets because it gives her something to do, and it slows down her intake lol

I would look into bird toys, a lot of them are safe for rabbits, and they can have cool shredder toys for large birds that your rabbit might enjoy

i’m a little “late,” but i saw this post and decided to share that my rabbit Sienna doesn’t play with much either! the only things she seems to like are toilet paper/paper towel tubes, boxes, and this duck tape roll i used up and gave to her. all of those she eats, too. it really is a shame. i guess she’s more of a lounging rabbit as well.

Mine has never cared for toys that much, except for the occasional willow ball. He does like chewing and tossing around pieces of cardboard and we have a couple different tunnels in which he likes to run around and through. When we leave for work, I scatter and hide vegetables around house to give him reason to explore. Every once in a while, we’ll move furniture around just to throw him off.

A lot of rabbits don’t play much during the day, I think dawn and dusk are meant to be the more active times.

Terry and Maggie have a whole room to themselves with a rotation of toys, and obviously each other, but they spend the majority of the day napping. Occasionally I find them on the ground eating or checking for food but mostly Maggie is napping as close to Terry as she can, and Terry is camped out like a far cupcake on the scratch post refusing to make enough room for her.

They play a lot at night though, especially Terry. I bring them into the lounge room in her evening and Terry will spend his time binkying, being stupid, playing with toys, and grooming Maggie. Maggie spends it trying to make us cuddle her and when she is done with that she has a few small plays and demands grooms from Terry.
