i have a rosier miniature rose plant in my room, my rabbit got up on the table while i was gone and it looks like she ate 3 or 4 of the leaves. does anyone know if those are safe for rabbits? she’s getting spayed tomorrow and now im worried that she may get an upset stomach so i dont know if i should reschedule.

My understand is rose is safe, so ideally the leaves would be as well, but I’m struggling to find that stated explicitly somewhere… you can explore the lists here to see if you can find your exact flower: https://wabbitwiki.com/wiki/Vegetables

I would not go directly to call and re-schedule the spay– I would just call to inquire. It is likely fine. Rabbits tend to get their mouths on things they shouldn’t eat often and unless ill effects are observed within 3-6hrs (their gastric transit time), they are completely fine afterwards.

Roses are safe for rabbits. Flowers, leaves and stems. I often give my buns rose leaves and petals in the summer.
