  I had put Cotton and HB together twice 2 days in a row. The last session ended with Cotton lying besides HB after I gave them both a treat.
  
  Well yesterday all day Cotton stayed in his house. Slept dozed and such. I never had a chance to put them together in neutral territory. Could it be that Cotton was hiding. He knows I won’t pick him up and take him out from his cage. So he stayed in there stil 7pm. At that point we are eating supper and going for a walk tv etc. So they didn’t get to mix yesterday.
  
  Ruby attacks HB on site. The other day I left the kitchen xpen open and HB ran into the 2’s territory and here come Ruby then Cotton followed her lead. So I ran ang grabbed HB and put he and Cotton in the kitchen. Amazingly they laid next to each other after treats.
  
  HB is smart. Really smart. He went thru the living room to the bedroom gate looking to go to his place the bathroom. Wow he has never been loosed to go that route. But from me carrying him thru there he was able to recognize the way back to his home. He is very intelligent.
  
  So I think today I will put HB in the kitchen with his litterbox and see if Cotton heads his way then herd Cotton to the neutral kitchen area to get introduced to HB again.

  It’s worth a try – sounds like Honey Bunny might be older and more mellow. I have a friend who bonded 2 neutered males quite easily.

  Today didn’t go so good. I put HB in the kitchen and let Cotton in. At first they didn’t go near each other. Then Cotton decides to go over. Cotton put his head down for grooming. When no grooms came he nipped HB, stepped on his head turned around hopped off his head back to where he came from. Then HB went over and Cotton kept nipping him and I intervened.
  
  I think it works better if I sit there with then next to each other and pet them both.

  You don’t have much bonding luck do you BT, sounds like your bunnies love you too much to commit to another bunnie

  Yep seems that way,. Is not going well… Went pretty good with Ruby when I saw him groom her right off I knew I could do it.
  
  But HB dont’ think so. HB doesn’t bother nobody. They come up and go after him. Poor guy.
