I assume the babies are almost two weeks by now? Their eyes are open and they have hair, look very chubby and are exploring/walking in the cage. The harlequin one was trying to chew the stuff in the cage (Idk the name so I’m gonna put a picture) is this bad if they chew it? Should I change the bedding to a towel maybe? Is it okay if they eat hay? What do you guys think?

i would take away the hay- i think its too rich for them this young. the bedding looks like shaved wood- i would switch to something like carefresh. but this is all just guessing so you should wait to hear from an expert.

I agree with Katie – pine shavings are not a recommended bunny bedding, so you could switch to something more guaranteed safe like carefresh or a fleecey blanket. If they are starting to nibble on things I would imagine thats OK, as long as it is hay or something else bunny safe. You wouldn’t want them chewing on those wood shavings though.

The only shavings I know of that are said to be safe are Aspen shavings. But I think for softness as well as safety I’d try Carefresh. The original uncolored is the least expensive.

Monkey <3s her purple towel in her cage. My hubby is jealous of it. Its softer than his bath towels
