  This morning, after I got the baby to sleep. I was petting Holly and noticed it was time for a nail trim. After being in the “bunny house” for cutting her nails, I gave her some space. About 15 minutes, I decided I’d get my favorite pillow and a book and lie down on the floor and read while the baby was sleeping. Holly used that time to cuddle with me and jump on my tummy now that she can and just hang out with me. I think I’m forgiven for cutting her nails and not spending as much time with her as we both like.
  
  As a side note. I heard something on the radio a few weeks back about dogs and cats. I noticed the same with Holly. They said that when you scratch a place that itches on a dog the dog wags its tail. They say with a cat the cat licks the air. I notice when I pet or even groom Holly’s hind quarters she licks my arm or the floor. Interesting

  That’s interesting. I notice Jersey always licks the floor after I stop petting her, then she’ll groom herself.

  Most rabbits have an instinct where if their back end is “groomed”, they groom back
