Help!! So i just purchased a nectar mattress with a foundation. The foundation i read Is made up of solid pine and natural spruce. Is this dangerous to have in the same room as my bunny? Is it dangerous only if she eats it or do both woods set off an aroma that is dangerous to bunnies? I’m extremely concerned! Please help!!

          Hi Sheri

Those wood are only a concern when it’s shavings that a rabbit is on as bedding or litter.

In solid form, it is fine and also ok if they nibble it occasionally. Most wood used for construction has been well dried.

Thank you so much! I read Up on the woods that were toxic for rabbits and both were on the list so it scared me. Thanks for clearing that up though. Appreciate your response!
