Is the Prosper Pet Cat Tunnel good/safe to use for rabbits?

Here’s the link to the product on Amazon:

        https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B…XK4R29W51M

Some people think it’s good, some people think it’s bad. What’s your opinion? Should I purchase it?

I think the main problem is if he’s a chewer. If not he’d probably enjoy it ! If chewing is an issue you’d have to be careful about him ingesting it

I haven’t even got my bunny yet! I’m just looking at supplies that I should get. Since I don’t know weather or not she/he would be a chewer, I’ll have to just wait on buying it.

I use a very similar tunnel (straight line but same material). Yes they are safe, but if your bunny wants to chew it a lot, you will have to take it away. Mine also had a ball hanging down on a string. I cut it off as close to the tunnel as possible because I didn’t want my bunnies chewing the elastic string as I didn’t think it would be safe. You could give the ball to them (without the string) as a separate toy.

My rabbits chomped off the hanging ball on their first run through.
Not this tunnel, but a cat tunnel with the hanging ball.

I too have cat-tunnels, they all seem to have those balls. And they get chomped off at the first run (Annoying tree-root invading my burrow, must eliminate). So you might just as well cut them off from the start.

Whether a tunnel is safe or not depends a lot on the bun, as the others have said. No material except (perhaps!) stainless steel withstands bunny teeth and bunny determination.

But they do love tunnels. If I could buy only one bunny toy, it’d be a tunnel.
