Do you guys proof areas that are already block off?

I haven’t gotten in any sleep past 4-5am this whole week. One of my buns has been magically accessing areas that’s been blocked off. My portable heater is officially dead. Even some of the wires were pulled. Same goes for some extension cords. I don’t understand; I even got zapped when I tried to pick it up because I didn’t see that it was stripped down to the wires with wires sticking out so much. Doesn’t she get shocked? Or does she like getting shocked?

The condo has wheels under it. She also digs her way under it and scratches the carpet underneath even though it’s “blocked off” by grids plus stuffed with a blanket.

She’s driving me nuts; she has tons of toys and I even gave her a brand new willow ball that she normally loves.

Definitely. Never know if they can find a way to wiggle into a blocked off area.

I agree- if it is something that can be damaged- block it off. We don’t allow our bunnies in our bedroom but we covered the cords to the Select Comfort mattress pump. The little bit exta materials and time was well worth it considering what the damage could be.

We mostly block things off, but I don’t let the bunnies out in those areas without supervision because I know Hannah will occasionally jump over barriers. I’m too lazy to cover every single wire behind the tv, so I trust to blocking it off and being around to watch her most of the time.

If you have a some sort of video recording device, you should set it up while you’re out of the room to try and see exactly how she’s doing it, then maybe you can fix it properly.
